The Prospectives

Hey people,
Sorry I have not been able to post in a long time.
This really is a delayed post, I have been procrastinating this for a long time.
As you can tell this post is called the prospectives, so that is what I will be writing about.
This topic came to mind randomly when i was thinking about why students, and parents have prospective in which are way different by means of theory and logic. They all differ from how they feel about a certain topic.
Lets start with students vs. teachers prospective. From What I observe with other students, and my self(which I am also a student) is that most students have the idea that school is pointless, yes indeed, but if we look back in history we find that the education of students is very valuable.
The first type of education was learning one trade such as; farming, building, hunting, and for girls being a house wife. Late on they discovered that education should be diverse. The first formal education was in Religion, learning about God.
The first school in America was established in 1635 called Boston Latin School, and was started by Rev. John Cotton in 1635. The 56 signers of the U.S constitution attended this school, including John Hancock, Samuel Adams, Benjamin Franklin, Tobert Treat Paine, and William Hooper. This is significant to my topic because it shows that education helped some of most intelligent people went to school to better them self.
The next and final prospective I will post about, is the most important one I’m going to talk about is the prospective God vs. Humans. Scripture says that God is perfect, Holy, and pure, and also says that We are to be in the image of God, so how is it possible to be that? Its impossible. If we look in Genesis we find that there was a fall of men. This means that ‘Sin’ entered into the world. This happened by Adam and Eve disobeying God and eating an apple from the Tree of Knowledge. This happened by them being deceived by a serpent, which some say they where being tempted. Anyways, the way we can be called Holy is by Accepting Jesus Christ in our life, We get the privilege of not having to follow the law of the old testament which where were placed in Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy. But by the Blood of Jesus Christ we are free from the bondage of sin. The sin in which we once loved we now hate. Can get this Salvation by believing 100% That Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins, and by placing our trust in him. Again Paul reminds us in Romans 8 “1Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus,[a] 2because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death. ” Because of this salvation we have we will not have to experience Death, and we will be in heaven worshiping God everyday, and each day of eternity will be better. After this salvation happens there will be multiple changes in you life. And you will be considered Righteous, and free from the bondage of sin.

Tunnel

January 18, 2009 at 5:25 am (Uncategorized)

I once was lost in a world full of darkness
I once was lost in a world full of sin
I was trapped
There was no escape
There is no way out
Im drowning
To the bottom of this life
This life full of Struggles
cutting
peer pressure
sexual images
All these repeat in my head
again
again
and again
I see no light
No end in sight
The burdens
they put a cover on my eyes
As I walk deeper in to the tunnel
There is still no end in sight
Walking
Walking
Walking
I learn from my mistakes
I sometimes just want some retakes
I see it
A short glimpse of light
I start running
running
running
Its gone
It was in my hands
I lost it
The pain i feel of loosing it
Shatters my heart
But I have to keep my head up
Keep walking strong
Learning from my many mistakes
I see it
Another glimpse of light
Im running towards it
I make it
As I feel joyous inside
Thoughts come in my head
I have not lived in the light for so long
All I know is the darkness
But I feel Super Natural Power
Drowning out those ridiculous thoughts
Restart
Relive
Retake
Is my now thoughts
Is I take a look around
I found my new life
I walk back to the tunnel
And discover
I was going in circles that whole time

A Journey
By:Austin White
Aug.10,2008
A journey through the pain and struggles

There are deep deep sorrows
That makes us not want to see tomorrow
There is hurt in every individual
That makes them want to cry
I cant see the light
I feel as I’m loosing the fight
I just want to see the wonderful and glorious light
The war wages on
It engulfs me
I struggle for an out reached hand
There is nobody in sight
The evil force attacked me again
I battled
Still there is no one to help
I continue to battle
I feel like I’m loosing the fight
I get this Super Natural strength
To help me fight the evil forces
Then this powerful man descends from the sky
And pulls me from this waging war
He defeats the evil force once and for all
He is my Lord
The maker of all.

Prepiation for that battle

April 28, 2008 at 10:02 pm (Uncategorized)

When I was in the third grade we went to the city championships for pee-wee football. We were working for this all year. Anyways, on the first play of the game    (Receiving the Kick-off), the kicker kicked the ball to the second line, Which was were I was lined up at. He kicked it right into my hands. This was the first time all year, wait, In my life that i got the ball!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I cough the ball with the face mask of my helmet. When i got the ball I just stared at it.. Then when i heard my coaches voice saying ” RUN RUN RUN!!!!”  I finally responded to it. But by the time i responded to the coach it was too late, BAM! I got lit up by one of their outside runners. I can relate this to my life as an everyday battle with sin. Just as the coach didnt prepair me for getting the ball on special teams, and i got lit  up. Thats like not knowing the word of God. The consequences and pain of that hurts worse than any earthly pain. When satian comes my way with a temptation I can be sure of this: I CAN do all things through God who gives me strength. Philippians 4:1. And When ever I fell that God is tempting me I can be sure of this: 13When tempted, no one should say, “God is tempting me.” For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone; 14but each one is tempted when, by his own evil desire, he is dragged away and enticed. 15Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death. James 1:13-15. If I need assurace of salvation I can be sure of this: Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Romans 5:1. If you need salvation you can confess with your mouth that Jesus is LORD and believe in your heart that he rose 3 days later from the grave you will be saved!!!!! Romans 10:9-10. If you want to be sure of your salvation call me 817- 204- 9439

Look out!

April 28, 2008 at 10:01 pm (Uncategorized)

Hey,
Yesterday I was sitting outside alone and thinking about things. At my house we have 2 gigantic oak trees, and a few weeks ago I made an unsuccessfully attempt to make a big branch fall out of a tree that fell and was caught by 2 other limbs. Anyways I was up there and my mom said
“Son get down from there. If you fall you are going to break your neck.”
And me being the Mr know it all I said back “nah mom its ok, im not going to fall.”     So she was trying to get me down for fifteen minutes before I finally gave up and got down. A few days later I went outside to be alone and think. I looked at the place where I was climbing on the tree, and noticed that I was about 100 feet in the air With out any safety gear!!!!! I thought to my self wow! what if i would of fell? I would be in the hospital right now! I was thinking to my self after that what are some things as an christian or individual that I am trying to take on? Am i standing firm on ground or am I 100 feet in the air valunerbale for a gust of wind to come and knock me down?
It was from that day on I learned to slow down, and to achially go down and look at how big the task is before I go and jump on it! Because when I was in the tree it only looked like I was ten feet in the air, but two days later when I was out sitting on the ground I noticed how high I achially was up in the air! So take time to slow down and look at the problems that you are facing! If you know they are too big for you to handle pray that GOD will help you finish them.

Childhood, a massive topic. Some peoples childhood rocked some peoples childhood sucks. Today in Tx. History Mr. Harrison was giving a speech/lecture on how most of Americas hero’s had a bad/hard life. because of their struggles and they faced the eye of adversity they where strong in the face of rough things that happen on their career. When George Washington was 20 years old his brother Lawrence died, but he got through that. When Sam Houston was serving as a Governor in Tennessee he got married and 11 weeks later he goes to find the woman he loves doesn’t love him. Imagine how that feels? But he later went on to make Texas an independent nation. After being depressed about Elizabeth. This in encouragement to me because right now my life is really hard, but by GODS grace I can get through it! I hope this is encouragement to the people who are going through rough times!

Choices

April 28, 2008 at 9:58 pm (Uncategorized)

Choices,

A BIG topic. Some may be stupid, some may be smart. Some choices are impacting. Today I was sitting in Texas History, and Mr. Harrison was Speaking on how one mans choice, and missfortune affected the whole history of the United Staits of America. I was thinking as he told the story. What choices in this week/month/year that may be affect me in the rest of my life. As I walk through daily life I am just amazed on what choices I am making that may be affecting my life later. Now I think of my school life. Homework, grades, GPA, ect. If I work hard now my SR. year in HS will be a breeze. As a man once told me “Make God happy.” So I hope my choices now are doing just that.

WINNERS AND LOSERS

A WINNER SAYS,”LETS FIND OUT”
A LOSER SAYS, “NOBODY KNOWS”
A WINNER MAKES A MISTAKE, AND SAYS ,”I WAS WRONG”
A LOSER MAKES A MISTAKE, AND SAYS,” IT WASN’T MY FAULT”
A WINNER CREDITS HIS GOOD LUCK FOR WINNING
A LOSER CREDITS HIS BAD LUCK FOR LOSING
A WINNER WORKS HARDER THAN A LOOSER AND HAS MORE TIME
A LOSER IS ALWAYS “TOO BUSY”
TO DO WHAT IS NECESSARY
A WINER MAKES COMMITMENTS
A LOSER MAKES PROMISES
A WINNER SAYS SAYS IM GOOD, BUT NOT AS GOOD AS I OUGHT TO BE
A LOSER SAYS  IM NOT AS BAD AS A LOT OF OTHER PEOPLE
